Never hit a jellyfish with a spade

I decided to start reading one of Browning's books, which is a collection of the 'how to' column that he wrote in the Guardian newspaper.

Browning has a very niche style of writing, particularly aimed at young to middle aged adults implying themes of satire and sarcasm, and personal bias. I get the impression that his mission statement is to make people laugh by luring them in to agreeing with the way he sees things and making a few jokes out of it.

I found it interesting to illustrate some of his points in a comical cartoon kind of way, but I think that is as far as it goes.

For me, Guy Browning doesn't inspire me to the point that I want to know more about his life and his work due to the fact that I find him rather narrow minded in some ways. I was interested in his methods of optimistic thinking but this isn't enough to urge me to visually explore what he is about in more depth.
